Last summer, I worked in England at studios92 an accommodation booking company. I planed working 6 month there but after 3 month I quitted the company because the Boss was such a Jerk. Since I had asked me how I could explain my leaving during my internship oral report I have to do next October. And finally, yesterday I found the perfect answer: short and relevant. I found it in an interview by Guy Kawasky of Penelope Trunk.

The question was: What should I do if I work for a jerk? (Exactly what I was looking for)

And so she answer:

Leave. […] Staying in a job like this makes you look bad. People wonder why you put up with it. And, frankly, you should too. It’s like being an abused wife. The wife who stays always defends the relationship by how much she gets out of it, but to everyone else it is obvious that she should leave. The problem is a loss of personal perspective.

This is exactly the feeling I had when I left the Job! I think I will quote it during my presentation.
